About the Project
The brief was to convert an existing farm building into a pool complex incorporating a Harvia steam room in glass mosaic.
The pool was built as a concrete pool out of the PSS Block System and fully lined walls and floor with Hexatherm insulation.
The pool was tiled with fully iridescent glass mosaic tiles and covered with an electric Roldeck pool cover.
The fittings were of the highest quality Grade 316 stainless steel and nine Eva colour changing lights finished the look.
The heating was supplied by boilers feeding a Delta 4 Calorex air handling unit and sanitation was managed with a top of the range Pool Pilot and UV system.
The Harvia steam room was tiled in glass mosaics and had an essence unit installed.
The entire pool hall was insulated with new ceilings and walls and completed with the German based Knauf Cement Board and Plaster System.
